The Council-Manager form of government is in place, with the City Council overseeing policy and the City Manager managing daily operations. The city offers various services, including public safety, infrastructure maintenance, water, and community development. Special districts and joint power authorities provide additional services to the population.

Welcome to Fort Bragg—a small coastal city with a big heart.

What makes Fort Bragg special is more than our coastline. It is our people, our local businesses, our families, and the strong sense of community that makes this place feel like home.

It is truly a privilege to serve as your City Manager.

Fort Bragg has been part of my American story from the beginning. When I came to the United States in pursuit of opportunity and a better future, Fort Bragg was the first city I called home. Today, my wife and I are raising our three children here, and all three were born in this community. Our son was among the last children born at our local hospital before the birthing center closed. This is not simply where I work—it is where we built our life and where we are raising our family.

I have had the opportunity to serve the City for more than a decade, first in finance and now as City Manager. My approach is simple: work hard, listen, be transparent, solve problems, and keep Fort Bragg moving forward.

I also see my role as a facilitator—bringing people together, removing barriers, and helping good ideas move from conversation to action. I believe local government should be accessible, responsive, and willing to ask, “How can we make this work?” while protecting the public interest and being responsible with community resources.

There is a lot happening in Fort Bragg. We are investing in infrastructure, expanding housing opportunities, supporting local businesses, strengthening public safety, improving parks and recreation, building community-owned broadband, and modernizing City services.

And I believe some of our greatest opportunities are still ahead of us.

The Mill Site is one of those opportunities. With thoughtful planning, community involvement, and strong partnerships, we have an opportunity to shape its future in a way that supports housing, recreation, public access, economic development, environmental restoration, and the long-term needs of Fort Bragg. I believe in smart, responsible growth that creates opportunity while protecting the character of our community.

There will always be challenges, but I am optimistic about where Fort Bragg is headed. If we continue to listen, collaborate, think creatively, and work together, I believe the best is still yet to come.

Most importantly, I want City Hall to remain accessible to the people we serve. Your ideas, concerns, and experiences matter.
