The Public Works and Facilities Committee meets the 2nd Thursday of each month, at 4:00 p.m. The public is encouraged to attend and participate in all committee meetings, located at:

Duties & Responsibilities

This committee reviews and makes recommendations on public works matters, including; street maintenance, parks, drainage, water and sewer, use and maintenance of public buildings, prioritization of public works improvements, service extensions, engineering services and solid waste. Councilmembers serving on the Public Works and Facilities Committee typically represent the city on the Mendocino County Solid Waste Management Authority (MSWMA,) with one council member designated the Live Streamappointee, and the second councilmember appointed as the alternate.
